Over the past couple of years, we’ve organised many book club gatherings in our bookshop. During these evenings we’ve connected and reflected with great books and even better company! After so many great Dutch editions of the Riemer Book Club, we’re now ready to host our first English book club, on Thursday the 27th of March.
Our first read will be the modern classic The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon; a beautiful, engaging story about Christopher, a teenage boy with autism who discovers a dead dog in his neighbours’ garden. The dog has a garden fork sticking out of him. Christopher is determined to solve this murder mystery and his own unique approach in doing so has captivated many readers all over the world.
We have (of course!) the book available in our shop if you haven’t read it or want to read it again.
