Wat\u00a0als de toekomst terug zou spreken\u2014naar ons, hier en nu? In\u00a0Ancestors<\/em>\u00a0gebeurt\u00a0precies dat.\u00a0Nouralith, geboren in 2225, is de afstammeling van onze keuzes vandaag. Ze is\u00a0de echo van wie we zijn, en wie we besluiten te worden. Ze legt een hand op onze schouder\u00a0en zegt: zorg goed voor mij. Want er is geen later. Alleen nu.\u00a0Ancestors<\/em>\u00a0is een interactieve groepservaring van het Smartphone\u00a0Orchestra, waarin het\u00a0publiek wordt geleid door hun eigen smartphone. In een collectieve reis vol technologie,\u00a0verbeelding en verbondenheid reflecteren we op intergenerationele verantwoordelijkheid.\u00a0Wat geven we door? En wie zijn wij, voorbij de grenzen van onze tijd?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Literatuur beperkt zich niet alleen tot boeken\u00a0of geschreven tekst, maar is in vele andere vormen te vinden.\u00a0De voorstelling\u00a0–\u00a0of beter gezegd, de ervaring\u00a0–\u00a0Ancestors<\/em>\u00a0is hier een voorbeeld van. Als\u00a0deelnemer cre\u00eber jij\u00a0samen met anderen\u00a0ter plekke\u00a0het verhaal. Met andere woorden:\u00a0je bent auteur en personage tegelijkertijd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guided by your own smartphone, this interactive experience uses AI to create connections between you and others in the room. In Ancestors, you and your fellow participants tell the stories of those who will come after us, stepping into a future shaped by the actions of today. Your smartphone becomes your guide, leading you through a world where the impact of climate change, technological advancements, and social challenges have taken hold. Together with your coparents, your decisions and interactions shape the narrative and influence the collective outcome of the experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t just a passive performance; it’s an immersive, participatory journey where the audience is as much a part of the story as the content itself. As you explore these possible futures, you’ll find yourself questioning your relationship with technology, society, and the planet. The unique combination of speculative fiction, interactive storytelling, and real-time decision-making will leave you with plenty to think about long after the experience ends. Literature is more than just books or written text; it exists in many more ways. The show \u2013 or better, the experience \u2013 Ancestors <\/em>is a great example. Together with other participants, you create the story in real-time. In other words: you are an author and character at the same time! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
